Development, Implementation and Operation
of Wind Farms in Latin America

LAWEA is proud to present its first workshop: “Development, Implementation and Operation of Wind Farms in Latin America.”

Continuing with its labor of promotion, education and defense of wind power in the region, LAWEA presents its first technical workshop, as an answer to the demand for knowledge of the implications of this technology relatively new for Latin America, from a deeper point of view.

It is our aim that Latin America becomes a leader in the production and generation of wind power, since the region has an extremely strong potential that is waiting to be exploded, and the lack of knowledge is a big obstacle between the current situation of energy crisis and the independence from fossil fuels.

Thus, LAWEA seeks to contribute with the spread of knowledge on wind power, a step forward to a greener world.

By opening our technical workshops, we will explore the main aspects that include the development of a wind farm, from its analysis, evaluation and study, until its implementation, operation and maintenance. We will see practical experiences of the farms installed in the region, reported by the leaders of wind development in Latin America.
