Enel Green Power to develop 1,000MW wind
power projects in Mexico

Enel Green Power, a unit of the Enel Group, through its subsidiary Enel
Latin America, has announced a project development agreement with
SoWiTec Energias Renovables de Mexico, an affiliate of the German
developer SoWiTec international, to develop a number of wind power
projects in Mexico for a total capacity of up to 1,000MW.
Through the agreement, Enel Green Power will have exclusive access to
wind power projects being developed by SoWiTec, as well as the right to
acquire these projects once they are fully authorized.
The projects are located in the states of Sonora, Coahuila,
Aguascalientes, Tamaulipas y Veracruz with a preliminary capacity for
each project ranging between 100MW to 200MW.
