India reports on crude output and gas production

Crude oil production has declined marginally by 0.5 % in the country
during April-December this fiscal, while refining and natural gas output
went up by 3.7 and 27 %, respectively, according to the Ministry of
Petroleum and Natural Gas.
A latest data released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas indicate
that crude oil production in April to December period this fiscal was
recorded at 25.43 mm tons compared with 25.57 mm tons in the same period
last fiscal.
The refining production stood at 120.44 mm tons during the first nine months
of this financial year, against 116.10 a year ago, the release said. The
natural gas production was recorded at 25,001 mm cm as compared with 24,332
mm cm during the same period last fiscal.
The overall crude processing in December was 106.3 % of the installed
capacity as compared with 103.5 % in the month a year ago.
