| Company to begin providing nationwide recycling Jan.

Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Company LLC will provide
nationwide electronics recycling beginning Jan. 15.
It will have 280 recycling locations around the United States and at least
one in each state. The company expects to establish at least 800 drop-off
sites by 2011. MRM, as it is known, was founded by Panasonic Corporation of
North America, Sharp Electronics Corp. and Toshiba America Consumer Products
LLC. Consumers can drop of any of those companies´ electronic products for
free.
"With the establishment of the nationwide recycling program, one of the most
comprehensive in the industry, we have proven that collaborative effort is
the most effective way to provide consumers with convenient recycling
opportunities," said David Thompson, MRM president.
MRM also is committed to eliminating the export of hazardous electronic
waste to developing countries, he said.
