Recently a whistleblower released e-mails, computer code, and other documents from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. This release has been dubbed "ClimateGate." The e-mails and computer code have revealed a conspiracy to artificially enhance the case for man-made global warming, which is contrary to scientific evidence.
"ClimateGate matters. The Climate Research Unit colluded to prevent their data and computer models from being shared or peer reviewed, and the CRU computer models were flawed, poorly written, and contain numerous errors," Allen said.
Allen said all federal and state policies, regulations and legislation related to carbon dioxide need to be put on hold while the major media sources, government officials and academia implement a full investigation into this matter. "Bad science must not be used to radically change our economy or our way of life through a cap-and-trade tax scheme," she said.
