The momentum keeps growing for natural gas vehicles!
So far this year we have seen:
* GM's return to the market with natural gas Express/Savana
cargo van options,
* Honda's doubling of Civic GX production,
* Hundreds of new CNG stations built with DOE stimulus funding,
* Return of the Fuelmaker home and fleet refueling appliances,
... the list goes on and it is all being discussed at
www.CNGchat.com which, incidentally, has grown to over 8,000
members!
A big thanks to all of you in California who responded to the
last call to action. AB 1500 was successful in extending our
natural gas vehicle HOV lane access thru 2014.
Today we urge you to call your Senators in Washington (or their
local offices) as soon as possible to discuss natural gas
vehicles (NGVs) and to express your support for Senator Reid's
attempts to bring up and pass S. 3815 in support of natural gas
and electric vehicles. This bill will provide significant
incentives to get more NGVs on the road and reduce our reliance
on imported oil.
