The closeness of a revolution here in American is real

To the Editor: The closeness of a revolution here in American is real. People are getting tired of all the excuses our “government officials” are giving us. Excuses of how to “fix” problems, introducing “new legislation,” arguing with others “dumb founded” politicians, trying to remove our “constitutional” rights, etc.

The solutions are right in front of their noses. Use common sense! Example, “oil prices,” I know I’m  not the only one to know that here in the United States there are numerous “wells” capped across this country. Enough to produce fuel and energy for some 300 years, the United States has an “oil reserve” to last some 150 years, combined that’s over 450 years. I believe that’s ample time to build and manufacture new refineries and relieve ourselves from foreign dependency, create new jobs, help the economy and control our own pricing. Enough time for our scientist and engineers to develop new waves of energy and technology.

Other problems people are tired of excuses for are, health care, social security, Medicare, retirements being taken away and so called “bailouts” for various corporations. I believe this country has the best health care system in the world. Why else does everyone want to come here to be taken care of? How can you cut programs that our founding fathers put in place to help our “seniors,” that stood tall, fought and laid down their lives for this country?

Immigration! I don’t hold a grudge against anyone seeking a better way of life coming to America. However,  there are a few things they need to understand. First, our language is English. Second, we have our own laws and Constitution. We don’t care where you came from or how you did things there. Just be thankful and respectful you’re here and obey our way of life.
