Clean Energy to open compressed natural gas station



Jan. 12 -- Clean Energy Fuels Corp. will build and operate a new fast-fill compressed natural gas fueling station in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., for the Atlantic City Jitney Association.

The facility will serve the association´s new fleet of 190 natural gas powered 13-passenger shuttle buses. The association provides shuttle service to local residents and visitors.

The fueling station is expected to open during the second half of this year.

"Ours is the longest running non-subsidized transit company in America and we are committed to switching our entire fleet to 100% natural gas power," said association President Tom Woodruff.
