"Avoid Answering THESE Anti-Gun Questions..."

Dear responsibly armed citizen,

“Why do you carry a gun?  Why are you so paranoid?  How can a dangerous weapon make your family safer?”

Have you ever found yourself answering questions like these from skeptical friends and family?  At one point or another, we all have to navigate the accusations and questions about why we carry concealed.  Even though everyone’s situation is unique, I can tell you one thing that is common across the board: Most people spend too much time answering the wrong questions!

The core issues are not guns, gun control, or rights.  The core issues are perspective and reality.  Many people who are vehemently anti-gun simply don’t live in reality.  The problem is that too many people feel invincible and protected.  They believe that if they hate violence that violence will leave them alone.  They believe that the police will magically appear to protect them from the rapist, thug, or murderer who is waiting to ambush them in the empty parking lot.  They believe “it” will never happen to them.

People don’t need to be convinced that responsibly armed citizens make society more safe and secure.  People need to be awakened to the fact that regardless of how they feel, evil is rampant and criminals don’t give breaks to people who don’t like guns.

In this week’s report, you’re going to read about how you can more effectively engage your friends, family, and co-workers on the topic of personal defense.  As hard as it might be to believe, the people who disagree with your views today may actually be in a position to save your life tomorrow.  Our goal is to help them understand why preparing to face risk is one of the wisest decisions they could ever make.

Also in this week’s report, we’ve included an article that will show you that things are hardly ever what they seem.  The only absolute in the world of gun-law is that there are simply no absolutes, and you must carefully balance the weight of your rights, the law, your conscience, and the consequences of your actions.

Take care and stay safe,

Tim Schmidt
