Existence of 1,200C E-Cat Test Report Confirmed
PESN has obtained confirmation that a report about a
third-party test of an E-Cat module, reaching 1,200 degrees Celsius,
does indeed exist. We're not a liberty to say more than that, so don't
ask.

Everyone who has been following the saga of Andrea Rossi's E-Cat
technology is likely aware of the leaked information about a third party
test of a high temperature "hot cat" module -- that reached a maximum
peak temperature of 1,200C. To read about the "leak" and the identity of
the military consultant who posted the information, you can click,

PESN has obtained satisfactory confirmation that a report covering the
test does indeed exist. Also, an abbreviated version is slated to be
presented at the September E-Cat conference in Zurich, Switzerland.
As Rossi has mentioned in the Journal of Nuclear Physics an even more
comprehensive report is planned to be released by the University of
Bologna once all of their rounds of testing are complete. It is hoped
this additional report will be ready to be released publicly and openly
by this October.
Certain individuals in the alternative energy community have asked why
Rossi is not willing to release the third party test results
immediately, right now, today. The answer should be obvious to anyone
that has been following recent events closely; doing so would violate
his agreement with the scientists participating in the validation of the
high temperature E-Cat. They have control of when the test results are
published -- not Rossi. Until they give him the go ahead to post test
results, he cannot, period.
Complaining and arguing will not change the fact that until the
scientists participating in the validation of the E-Cat are ready for
their results to be published, they will not be posted. The good news is
that we don't have long to wait. A report about a specific test of the
high temperature E-Cat will be released at the Zurich conference; it
will be released because Rossi has the permission of those involved.
Then a short time later, sometime in October, the additional report will
be published.
For those who feel they cannot wait any longer -- not even weeks or a
couple months -- for third party test data, I would urge them to
consider the tremendous progress that has taken place with the E-Cat
technology. From all indications, it appears that the E-Cat has evolved
into a much more powerful piece of technology, than it already had been,
in a very short period of time of less than two years.
In January of 2011, the E-Cat could only remain stable at relatively low
temperatures; it was only capable of producing low temperature steam or
hot water. Now, according to the information posted by the consultant of
the military customer, the E-Cat can produce very high temperatures in a
stable manner. These temperatures hold the potential of efficient
conversion of heat into electricity.
If the test reports that are expected to be released at Zurich and then
in October show evidence of the above, they are worth waiting for. I
would go further; if they show kilowatts of excess heat and temperatures
of up to 1,200C, the wait will have been trivial. Such successful test
results could mean we do not only have a practical cold fusion
technology, but one that could make a very significant difference in the
world.
I am looking forward to the weeks and months ahead. Although I also feel
a strong desire for the reports to be released immediately, I think we
need to remain positive and hopeful. The last thing we need to do as a
community is let our impatience, even if well intentioned, create a
hostile environment.
