FDIC Problem Bank List
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) “Problem List”
contains more banks and thrifts than it has since 1992 and is continuing
to grow. And as the number of total institutions has been declining for
more than 20 years, the percentage of total institutions identified as
problematic is larger than ever in 2011 at 11.35%.
