Greece Again Steps Back from the Financial Cliff
The will-it-or-won’t-it saga of Greece’s exit from the eurozone took a
turn for the better on Wednesday as EU leaders are expected to extend to
Athens a second tranche of bailout assistance. While the new funding
prevents a likely Greek default and exit from the 17-nation currency
union, it also represents another EU move to kick the can down the road
on Greece’s debt crisis.
