Tensions Grow After Turkey Inspects Another Syria-Bound
Plane for Weapons
For the second time in a week, Turkey stopped and searched a Syria-bound
plane for weapons, increasing the likelihood of a military conflict
between the two nations. While NATO will still try to avoid military
action in Syria without a UN mandate, Western pressure on Russia will
increase due to a report that the Assad regime is using Russian-made
cluster bombs on civilians.
