Cellulosic biofuels in the US: How much and how soon? 2014′s Terrific Ten

Although just the one commercial-scale cellulosic biofuels facility is now operating in the United States at present (KiOR’s small commercial plant in Columbus, MS), at least ten projects exceeding 20 million gallons per year are expected to begin operations by 2014.

Tristan R. Brown and Robert C. Brown at the Bioeconomy Institute at Iowa State University have prepared, for the Digest, a 5-page summary of commercial-scale cellulosic biofuels projects expected by 2014.
