The U.N's Sneaky Plot To Grab Your Guns...

And How YOU Can Keep Your Guns Safe
From Low-Life Criminal Scum!

Yesterday, the United Nations General Assembly approved a global arms treaty to regulate the international arms trade. The goal of the Arms Trade Treaty is to control the flow of everything from battle tanks to small arms in order to keep them out of the hands of insurgents, terrorists, and organized crime.

First, the good news.

The U.N. General Assembly can only suggest and recommend. Their approval of the Arms Trade Treaty does not carry the force of law.

Next, the potentially bad news.

The Arms Trade Treaty would require the nations who sign it to create domestic laws that address these issues. And while the treaty does not overtly affect U.S. domestic law and the rights of its citizens to own guns, we've all learned the hard way that when the U.S. passes sweeping laws, the devil is the details. More laws and more regulations make it harder for law-abiding citizens to exercise their constitutionally protected rights. Over time, regulations mount and eventually create an oppressive environment. There's no doubt that in creating the laws and regulations to control international arms, domestic production and sale of personal firearms would be impacted. Some political analysts believe it would only be a matter of time before gun ownership in the U.S. would be prohibited based on this treaty.

Why is this treaty needed?

In fact, this treaty is not needed. Any nation that is concerned about illicit arms trading is free to control the flow of them in or out of their own borders.

So what's next?

The next step is for U.N. member nations to sign on. In the United States, the treaty must be signed by the president and then ratified by the Senate. Most political analysts believe it is unlikely the Senate will do so ... at this time. But that could change at any time.

What can you do right now to ensure your 2nd Amendment rights are upheld?

First, contact your senators and express your opposition to the Arms Trade Treaty. Request that your senator not sign it.

Second, and equally important, be a responsible gun owner. Show the U.N. that you can, in fact, keep your guns out of the hands of criminals. Case in point: organized Mexican drug cartels have infested major cities in the U.S. This is exactly the type of group the U.N. treaty is concerned with, and you can bet that drug kingpins don't get their guns legally. Instead, they often steal them from law-abiding citizens. It's easy to see how the U.N. could make the case that nobody should have guns so that criminals can't steal them.

What's the best way to keep your guns out of the hands of criminals?

There's not just one best way, there are many ... and they are all detailed in this timely book, Hide Your Guns. You'll discover a myriad of creative techniques to hide your guns and other valuables from criminals and predators.
