      • Back to the E-Cat — Rossi’s Level of Satisfaction is ‘Top’ - It’s not as easy as it once was to get Andrea Rossi to talk about his work. It appears that his new partners have put some restrictions on what he can publicly state — actually not very surprising considering the way corporations go about their business in highly competitive environments. Rossi has made it... (E-CatWorld; July 26, 2013)
      • Big Surprises Still to Come From Rossi & Co? - Rossi is still being coy about what he is up to. A few weeks ago he mentioned that ‘big surprises’ were coming, but gave no details. Here is a new exchange about that topic from today. Giuliano Bettini July 20th, 2013 at 3:17 AM Dear Andrea, we know that the E-Cat technology is undergoing.. (E-CatWorld; July 20, 2013)
      • Rossi: Can’t Find Stirling Engine Fit for Purpose - If you remember, a few weeks ago Andrea Rossi put out a request on the Journal of Nuclear Physics, asking if anyone had a Stirling Engine that might be suitable to work with an E-Cat. • Brainstorming E-Cat Ideas On JONP - Steven Karels is a frequent commenter on the Journal of Nuclear Physics. He recently provided an idea to Andrea Rossi on a possible source of power for the E-Cat. Andrea Rossi seemed quite interested. Here is Karels’ suggestion: “... do you believe an LENR output of power could be obtained with a Nickel nanopowder (no catalyst) and a low pressure (<1 atmosphere) plasma of Hydrogen.... • E-Cat Still Undergoing Changes - While most of the E-Cat community is close to ready to “hit the road running” with the technology perfected by Andrea Rossi, according to Mr. Rossi himself there are still changes being made. (ECatReport; July 21, 2013)
      • A New Division For Leonardo Corp. - Just recently, Andrea Rossi commented on an idea presented on the Journal of Nuclear Physics by Steven Karels. Mr. Karels said: “The significant characteristic of the eCat technology, in my humble opinion, is that it is excellent for long term, constant output applications. An example of this is the baseload electric power plant, previously discussed. (ECatReport; August 1, 2013)
      • Inherent Risks In Industrialization of the E-Cat - One of the greatest worries of the E-Cat community, when they learned that Andrea Rossi had taken on a major partner in the U.S., was that somehow his technology would disappear. (ECatReport; July 26, 2013)

      • Potential Industrial Association for LENR
        From: David Nagel

Subject: Potential Industrial Association for LENR

        Dear Sterling,

Steve Katinsky and I will propose foundation of a new Industrial Association for LENR at ICCF-18. You might find that interesting.

Steve has a background doing multiple start up companies, and is now focused on LENR. He and I believe that our field may be nearing a tipping point, at least commercially, if not scientifically.

For the last year, we have been working toward the possibility of a new Industrial Association, which would represent the diverse interests of our field. We attended a conference at which energy-related associations in the US presented their viewpoints. It is clear that none of the existing US associations in the "energy space" will advance the needs of our field properly.

We are now ready to go public with our viewpoints regarding a potential new Industrial Association for LENR. They are contained in the attached brochure [PDF]. It will be distributed at ICCF-18.

This brochure is embargoed until next Monday, the start of ICCF-18. But, we wanted to give you a "heads up" on its coming. This possible Association could mean a lot to the field.

Hope to see you in Columbia.

        Dave

      • As the 'big science' suppresses the findings - Twenty years have passed since Giuliano Prepared wrote, in English, Executive Intelligence Review , an article in which he criticized the powers of the great scientific journals (from Nature) have set the agenda in international research, and denounced in particular the treatment reserved for the inquisitorial cold fusion. An article extraordinarily timely. (22Passi; July 25, 2013)
      • Reasonable Doubts? - After two-plus years of publishing E-Cat World I have noticed a change in the tenor of the conversation regarding LENR — more specifically LENR+, the high powered brand of LENR that Rossi and Focardi introduced in early 2011. For a long time it seemed that we were in detective mode here, looking for every... (E-CatWorld; July 28, 2013)

        • Notice the little dark triangles.  They seem to indicate the transmutation from each element:  Hydrogen (top left) supplying protons (why 6? . hmmm), clockwise (ascii is the letter of the element) -> Deuterium -> (+2) Suilur -> (+1) Potassium [K].  Appears to be indicating Hydrogen supplying protons to enable transmutations from Deuterium to Sulfur and Sulfur to Potassium.  It does add up correctly.  Other geometry no doubt is significant including the light and dark shadings of triangles - perhaps a 3D projection? -- Craig Butler
    • Applications
      • Hopes Turn To LENR For Cars - In the United States, the government “bought out” General Motors Corporation in order to keep it from going bankrupt. The government promised (which should have been the first premonition of failure) that this newly acquired yet unofficial government auto manufacturer would soon produce affordable electric cars. Move forward 5 years, and let’s see how that worked out. (ECatReport; July 22, 2013)
