A private Chinese company is "quietly" making an "aggressive push" into the U.S. natural gas fueling station business, according to a report from Reuters.

ENN Group Co. Ltd. plans to open 50 liquefied-natural-gas fueling stations along American highways this year alone, the news agency reported.

A typical natural-gas fueling station costs about $1 million, putting ENN Group's investment for 2013 at $50 million.

ENN has partnered with CH4 Energy Corp., a Utah-based company, to form Blu LNG. Its plans are "bold and moving quickly," Reuters reported.

"We have five stations in operation right now, and within I would say two weeks we will have another three stations," Blu LNG's CEO Merritt Norton told the news agency.
