Hello ARCSA Members and Friends,
We have had numerous inquiries about
the status of rainwater catchment systems
and rainwater related business in North
America. We here at ARCSA are also very
curious about how many systems exist out
there, how many rainwater businesses have
been started, as well as how much money is
being spent on rainwater systems in North
America. The last official ARCSA survey was
back in 1992 when Dr. Dennis Lye conducted a
survey of rainwater systems in the fifty
United States (He called each one
individually - wow, has technology changed
things!).
We have put together a list of
questions and have the great fortune of
teaming up with a survey sponsor, VIQUA-a
Trojan Technologies Company. VIQUA has
donated time for a market research
specialist to fine-tune our questions and
donated the mechanism for processing the
survey. Thank you VIQUA!
ARCSA will make the survey available
publicly
online along with Dr. Lye's 1992 survey.
We will sweeten the deal by entering
everyone that completes the survey into a
drawing for a choice of a free one-year
individual membership, a $60 value, or a
one-year business membership, a $150 value.
We will additionally put that cherry on top
by offering a second drawing for one full
registration to the ARCSA conference this
November in Austin, TX, a $265 value.
Please take the time to answer the
complete survey as these statistics will
ultimately be beneficial to the entire
rainwater profession. Please ensure that
only one person per business answers the
business questions, but that all employees
and rainwater system owners answer the
survey as individuals. We do not want to
double count any businesses, so please
designate one person to fill out the survey
for your business.

want to find everyone that may have a
rainwater system in North America. The
survey will close on Friday, May 31
and the results will be presented at the
ARCSA Conference in November 2013.
