Get Out There and Dig in the Dirt
This is by far one of my favorite times of the year. There is something so satisfying about finally getting outdoors, digging in the dirt, and sowing a new batch of seeds for the season. I have missed the simple pleasure of working outside in my garden. Here in the balmy South, many plants (especially herbs) overwinter quite nicely, so I just spent the last two days harvesting massive amounts of rosemary, thyme, and oregano. In fact, I have so much of these herbs that I have heaping piles covering my dining room table! Luckily my husband and I have lots of friends who appreciate fresh herbs! Whether you are like me and clearing out your usual garden patch for another season, or starting a little plot for the first time, I hope you too are enjoying the wonderful spring weather and the chance to be outdoors. And if you haven’t given much thought to a garden before, maybe this is finally the year to do it--I promise, it is well worth it! I won’t keep you any longer--get outside and enjoy that dirt and sunshine! As always, thank you for being a subscriber to Off the Grid News. We value each and every one of our readers.
