Suicide Bombers Attack Banquet, 50 Iraqis Killed

At least 50 people were killed and 21 more wounded across Iraq. The worst attack was a triple suicide bombing at a banquet near Baghdad.

At least three suicide bombers attacked a banquet being held at a Sahwa members home in Tarmiya. At least 35 people were killed: officers, policemen, soldiers and Sahwa members were among the casualties. There is no word on the number of injures.

In Mosul, gunmen killed a Christian woman. A roadside bomb killed three soldiers and wounded two more. Police killed a "key terrorist". Gunmen killed a married couple. A federal policeman was wounded in a small arms attack.

Two soldiers were killed and three more were wounded in Tikrit when a roadside bomb exploded.

Two men were killed as they tried to plant a bomb in Latifiya.

A blast in Madaen killed an officer and wounded four soldiers.

In Baghdad, security forces killed a suicide bomber before he could attack a cafe in Doura. An I.E.D. wounded a colonel in Qahira.

A Sahwa member was shot dead in Saniya.

Gunmen killed a soldier in Baiji.

Six people were wounded at a vegetable market when a bomb exploded in Tuz Khormato.

An I.E.D. wounded two policemen in Falluja.

A child and his mother were wounded when a series of bombs targeting the homes of security elements exploded in Kirkuk.
