Big Pharma unleashes plague killing thousandsRemember when the world was about to end? How could you not? It was just nine months ago that every newspaper and cable TV talking head was screaming bloody murder about how the flu was going to wipe us off Mother Earth. It was going to be a strain of Biblically bad proportions... the drug companies were holding press calls about their heroic efforts to make sure every man, woman, and child could have their arm pricked with the magical flu vaccine elixir (which, incidentally, failed 91% of the time for seniors). For all of Big Pharma's big talk, you would have thought they were doing more than lining their pockets with BILLIONS in drug sales -- they were preventing the plague! But, you know, they haven't had too much to say about a certain other plague... an outbreak so serious that it's going to kill the equivalent of every man, woman, and child in Naples, FL every single year. I'm guessing you haven't even heard about this plague -- and that's exactly how Big Pharma wants it. Because they're causing it. An alarming new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claims that at least 23,000 Americans a year are being killed by super diseases that have become resistant to antibiotics. And the real number may be much, much higher. The CDC says HALF of antibiotic use in America is now completely unnecessary, and it's leading to the rise of drug-resistant pathogens that can be up to 50% fatal once they enter your blood stream! When it comes to antibiotics, it seems that lots of mainstream docs have become pasta chefs -- they're just throwing spaghetti against the wall and seeing what sticks. In fact, some doctors are routinely prescribing antibiotics in situations where they KNOW the drugs won't work! And to make matters worse, while Big Pharma's drug reps always seem to find the time while wining and dining those docs to push their latest drug there never seems to be any time to slip in a warning about how aggressive over-prescribing of antibiotics is unleashing a wave of untreatable diseases. Instead everyone's stuffing cash in their pockets and their heads in the sand. And, in the end, these super diseases aren't just killing people outright -- they're making other treatments that carry a risk of secondary infection, like surgery and chemotherapy, MUCH more dangerous. The mainstream doesn't have the spine to stop this, but you do. The next time your doc reaches for that prescription pad, have a frank chat about whether antibiotics are truly necessary. With a little bit of common sense, we just may save a whole lot of lives. Yours in good health, Bob Reagan
