Antarctic Scientists Continue to Reel From Shutdown

U.S. scientists working in Antarctica continue to feel the negative effects of last fall's government shutdown. The shutdown created a logistical backlog that curtailed this season's activities, jeopardizes many projects scheduled for next season, and raises the bar for new applicants.
