I Plead The Fifth

Last week we saw Lois Lerner, the former head of the IRS division accused of targeting conservative and tea party groups, once again plead the fifth when called to testify before the U.S. Congress.

Every American, regardless of political affiliation, should be concerned that this same agency (and in some cases, the same people) will be – by law – in charge of enforcing much of Obamacare.

If we can’t trust the IRS to protect our right to free speech, how can we possibly trust them with our health? The answer is we can’t.

That’s why American Legacy PAC has teamed up with Dr. Ben Carson to launch the Save Our Healthcare Project – a national citizens’ effort to hold Washington accountable, re-center the healthcare debate around doctors and patients, and begin the process of answering the question of “What’s next?” – because real reform is absolutely vital.
