After Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare, Texas Congressman Introduces Bill Aimed Directly at Justices
Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) responded to a Supreme Court decision upholding a key Obamacare provision Thursday by introducing a bill in the House that would require each of the justices to enroll in the controversial health care program.
“As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it’s important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people,” Babin said in a statement.

“That’s why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for Obamacare,” the Texas congressman added. “By eliminating their exemption from Obamacare, they will see firsthand what the American people are forced to live with!”
President Barack Obama’s controversial health law survived it’s second Supreme Court challenge Thursday when the court upheld its nationwide tax subsides in a 6-3 decision.
Critics immediately skewered the court for the decision, many citing Justice Antonin Scalia’s dissenting opinion to contend the court had become politicized.
