A China company has recently launched an Indiegogo fundraising campaign for its Smart Shower Water Tap that lets out warm water immediately when the user opens the shower.

The smart shower tap uses residual cold water from a hot water tank and transfers it instantly from the hot to the cold line. It is fitted with a temperature sensor and a mode switch. Users can set the output water temperature even before they take a shower via a mobile app.

The shower tap also charges itself at 12V. This means cables and batteries, which pose a danger when used in moist spaces, are no longer needed. The fixture can be attached to the wall easily via screw nuts.

The tap is deemed very helpful in reducing energy use and expenses in water heating, and promoting water conservation like other new smart shower fixtures.
