Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s forthcoming memoir will double down on her claims that former FBI Director James Comey and Russia are to blame for her loss in November’s presidential election, The Hill reported Wednesday.

An unnamed “longtime ally” of Clinton’s told The Hill that the book will be a “bombshell.”

“She really believes that’s why she lost, and she wants to explain why in no uncertain terms,” the ally said. “She wants the whole story out there from her own perspective. I think a lot of people are going to be really surprised by how much she reveals.”

According to the report, Clinton “wants the whole story out there” about her loss. The former first lady and secretary of state is currently putting “the finishing touches” on the book, which is due to be published in September.

Clinton has maintained that Comey and Russia are responsible for her loss to President Donald Trump, while others have argued that she failed to appropriately use her campaign resources in states like Wisconsin and did not offer a suficient message to blue collar Americans and Rust Belt voters.

The Hill noted that some prominent Democrats have questioned Clinton’s strategy.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) told the Washington Post earlier this week that “When you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things — Comey, Russia — you blame yourself.”

“So what did we do wrong? People didn’t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that,” Schumer added.

Former Vice President Joe Biden also criticized Clinton during a conference in May.

“I never thought she was a great candidate,” Biden said. “I thought I was a great candidate.”

Amie Parnes, the author of The Hill’s report, is the co-author of “Shattered” a book detailing “Hillary Clinton’s doomed campaign.”
